A Week of Improv Celebration & Community

Easter is early this year, which means that so are our student showings. At the end of each course, we invite family, friends and improv nerds alike to come and share in what our students have been up to this term. With the guidance of their teacher, two classes perform each night. From short snappy games to full longform shows, this is an opportunity to see what improv has to offer. From first timers to old hands, this is a week of improv celebration and community.

And on Thursday 28th March, we invite improvisers past and present (and future), experienced and new to a good old fashioned improv jam and Easter party. There will be an easter egg hunt and a visit from a huge terrifying bunny. Plus opportunities to do a scene, a game or even a song in a supportive, caring environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday 25th March – Levels 1 (Shortform) and 2 (Scenes)
  • Tuesday 26th March – Levels 1 (Shortform) and 5a (Longform)
  • Wednesday 27th March – Levels 3 (The Armando) and 5b (Longfom)
  • Thursday 28th March – Easter Party

Tickets are strictly limited (and these events often sell out), so book soon to avoid disappointment.

All events will be held at Brighton Fishing Museum from 7.30pm, see you there!

  • Challenging, fun, with plenty of mayhem!

  • A hugely fun and relaxed way to start your journey into musical improv, and just a lovely way to spend a day.
Justine de Mierre, Improv Teacher, The Unqualified Yes
  • A smart, different approach to improv
    Lauren Bambauer, Improv Teacher, California
  • This was the most relaxed, unstressed and happy I’ve ever felt in my life. I just can’t truly express how grateful I am.
    Ben Stratford, Freshman, BYU
  • Simple instructions that turn out to be very useful. What has seemed complex, inscrutable and hard becomes accessible. You find answers to questions you hadn't thought to ask yet.
    Harvard Henrikson, Molecular Biologist, Norway
  • With Heather and Jules you will try everything in improv, and then, the opposite, and then the same thing, only different. They will change the way you see and do improv (for the better)!
