Music Ensemble Summer 25: American High School Dreams and Dramas!

Welcome to the Musical Ensemble Summer 25 course, where we’re stepping into the OMG, dramatic, and musical world of the American high school experience!

About Us:

The Musical Ensemble is a globally connected group of passionate performers who have been crafting musical magic online since the onset of the pandemic. With members from all over the world, our ensemble thrives on a shared love for musical improvisation and the drive to explore diverse creative genres.

What to Expect:

A one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore the intersection of music, storytelling, and the heartfelt, hilarious, and highly charged world of high school life. Drawing on inspiration from classics like Grease, High School Musical, and 10 Things I Hate About You, this course will take you on a rollercoaster ride of teenage emotions, social hierarchies, and big, bold musical numbers.

What You’ll Learn:

🎶 Craft Catchy, Theatrical Tunes: Develop melodies and lyrics that capture the highs and lows of adolescence—from giddy romance to pep rally anthems to heartfelt ballads of self-discovery.

🎭 Master the Genre’s Tropes: Dive into the archetypal world of cliques, prom drama, love triangles, locker room secrets, and inspiring underdog victories, and learn how to translate them into compelling musical narratives.

🎤 Bring Characters to Life: Create an unforgettable cast, from head cheerleaders and drama geeks to star quarterbacks and shy dreamers, and give them voices that resonate in song.

🎉 Collaborative Creativity: Work with fellow performers to improvise scenes, songs, and stories that will culminate in a spectacular final performance full of high school nostalgia and musical magic!

12 Mondays from the 13th of January with a 1-week break after 6 weeks and a show in the final week, 16:00-18:00 UK time.

Music Ensemble is a 12-week course – Payment Options:
