The musical ensemble is a group that has been working together making up music online since the start of the pandemic*. Our seasons run for 12 weeks with a one-week break and each season culminates in several online performances of a specific style or form we have been working on.

Our previous shows have included Flashback musicals, MGM-inspired musicals, shows where the songs are inspired by both the audience and the players’ autobiographical experiences,  Space Opera, and more. We have ensemble members from all over the world and are always keen to add even more countries.

For our Autumn 2023 term, we will be working on a high-energy, high production values Musical Shortform variety show.

This 12-week course includes:

• Classic musical short-form games and how to make them fly
• Techniques for making songs punchy, high impact and comical
• An introduction to new games and tools for how to create your own
• Exploration of game of the song and how short-form techniques can be used in a musical long-form show
