November 3rd @ 19:30 - 21:30

Virtual Event Virtual Event
Free – £20.00

For the audience, it’s magic, for the performers, it feels like flying. Tunes and lyrics appear from nowhere, and for a moment, you get to be in the room where it happens. Musical improv is maybe a bit like cheating.

Available in Brighton and Online, our musical improv drop ins are for everyone over the age of 18, from the improv music newbie, to the twenty-year player. You don’t need any musical improv experience, or even the ability to sing. Our expert teachers and musician will make you look like lyrical and musical geniuses. No cheating is necessary.

(NB, although we do not require it, some improv experience is advised for this class. If you have never done any improv before, we recommend starting with a free improv taster and/or level 1a.)

If there are accommodations that we can make to improve your experience, please email us in confidence at hello@andalsoimprov.com.

General terms and conditions:

  • Our drop in classes have a minimum of 6 people to ensure a good experience for all participants. If a class has to be cancelled, you will be notified with a minimum of two hour’s notice and a full refund will, of course, be issued.
  • Improv works best when the group is connected, so we ask that participants make every effort to be on time.
  • Cancellation Policy

Testimonials

  • Just awesome.
    Ruby, Brighton, UK
  • Challenging, fun, with plenty of mayhem!
    Anon
  • A hugely fun and relaxed way to start your journey into musical improv, and just a lovely way to spend a day.
Justine de Mierre, Improv Teacher, The Unqualified Yes
  • A smart, different approach to improv
    Lauren Bambauer, Improv Teacher, California
  • This was the most relaxed, unstressed and happy I’ve ever felt in my life. I just can’t truly express how grateful I am.
    Ben Stratford, Freshman, BYU
  • Simple instructions that turn out to be very useful. What has seemed complex, inscrutable and hard becomes accessible. You find answers to questions you hadn't thought to ask yet.
    Harvard Henrikson, Molecular Biologist, Norway
  • With Heather and Jules you will try everything in improv, and then, the opposite, and then the same thing, only different. They will change the way you see and do improv (for the better)!
    Luis Nogueira, Portugal
