Come celebrate the future of Brighton improvisation with AndAlso and some of our friends from the Maydays. Over the course of a (hopefully) balmy September afternoon and evening, we will share some of our favourite improv games, tell you all about our plans, then make some stuff up and have a glass of fizzy wine (or a soft drink). Come for as much or as little as you like. It’s up to you. Seasoned improviser, or just curious, we’d love to meet you/see you again/celebrate the end of the summer.
A short, sharp sugar rush of improv joy run by Heather and Jules. This workshop is open to all experience levels and will be based on finding connection while staying light and playful. A great introduction to the AndAlso style, this will be capped at 20. If you’d like to join the workshop, you must book your place here and then a place for the launch party with this events book now link above 🙂
We tell you a little bit about who and what AndAlso is, and what we plan to build in the next few years. There will also be free fizzy wine.
Scenes, games and maybe even a song or two. Open to players of all experience levels, this will be a celebration of improv and opportunity to improvise with people you don’t normally play with. Or just watch!
It’s a school night and we have small children, but let’s raise a glass to the future and each other.
You can book tickets on this page for the launch party & jam and here for the improv playground workshop. Tickets include a glass of fizzy wine or a soft drink. They are free as standard, but there are £5, £25 and £100 tickets available if you feel able to make a donation.
