Andrew is an improviser, performer and coach whose work spans the worlds of theatre, design, and personal development. He brings a thoughtful, creative approach to everything he does—on stage and off.

Originally trained in musical theatre at Circle in the Square Theatre School on Broadway, Andrew first began improvising with the Edinburgh University Improverts more than 25 years ago. He now performs internationally with the Olivier Award-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, where he also serves as Associate Artistic Director.

In addition to his work as a singer and actor, Andrew is also a skilled graphic designer, filmmaker, and creative collaborator. This interdisciplinary experience feeds into his facilitation, where he blends storytelling, listening, and creative play to help people connect and communicate more effectively.

As a coach and teacher, Andrew believes in the power of improvisation to unlock insight—whether in an artistic setting, a boardroom, or a one-to-one conversation. His approach encourages people to view every interaction as a creative partnership: an invitation to listen deeply, respond honestly, and be changed by the experience.

Favourite improv moment: Watching a group of total strangers step into their first scene together—and create something hilarious, moving, and entirely unexpected within seconds.
