Avatar of AndAlso Improv Facilitator, Elena KerriganImproviser, performer, facilitator (and probably your biggest cheerleader).

Elena has been a student and performer of improvisation since 2012, training with The Maydays, Hoopla, The Showstoppers, and other distinguished improv artists from around the world, including Stacey Smith, Will Naameh, Bill Arnett and Armando Diaz.

She performs regularly with Tea & Toast Improv in their popular, immersive improvised musicals Bla Bla Land and Hitch Your Wagon, delighting improv festival audiences across the UK and Europe. Elena is also the founding member of Scaramouche: The Improvised Rock Opera, and one half of the two-woman troupe 2Spoons Improv with Jenny Haufek, surprising audiences with their improvised Documentary.

In her local Brighton, Elena can often be spotted improvising on stage with The Ampersand Theatre’s house team, Arcadia, or jamming at Scoops with Gracie, her tween daughter. She’s known for her comfort with the uncomfortable, her deep commitment to emotional truth in scenes, and her genuine delight in all audience reactions — not just laughter.

As an improv teacher (and in her day job leading a global workplace consultancy), Elena specialises in creating supportive spaces where people feel safe enough to stretch into their growth edges. Nothing excites her more than helping others unlock the joy, confidence, and pride that come from surprising themselves.
