As a player, it re-established the personal connection to being a teenager and all the creative possibilities emanating from that. I've now completed four improv courses with AndAlso over the last year or so, starting from a base of zero improv knowledge or experience. No regrets! It's masses of fun and all the tutors I've had are funny, proactive and... read more kind, and a lot of thought has gone into the structure of courses so that you build up skill and experience (and therefore confidence) over time. So much work must go into it! And it's amazing that there's an end of course showing in an actual venue at the end to share what you've learned with friends and family. Our classes have opened into proper friendships and a sense of community too, which is a wonderful bonus. I've never had any issues or problems and I've felt able to ask questions and try stuff out and basically it's great. Come for a taster, stay for the course!

Love the variety, love the play. Every session is different yet has a grounding theme. I open up and learn more about my confidence to interact with others and let funny appear. No need to even be funny… the sessions... read more just bring it out. The growing connections with the group are half of the experience… building friendship over time in a playful setting is really relaxing and enjoyable!
