It pushed the limits of what I've seen in the genre of High school musicals, resulting in each session with an enriched toolkit to create compelling characters, compelling narrative structures and kickass improviséd musical numbers. As a player, it re-established the personal connection to being a teenager and all the creative possibilities emanating from that. So much work must go into it! And it's amazing that there's an end of course showing in an actual venue at the end to share what you've learned with friends and family. Our classes have opened into proper friendships and a sense of community too, which is a wonderful bonus. I've never had any issues or problems and I've felt able to ask questions and try stuff out and basically it's great. Come for a taster, stay for the course!

Both for beginners and those with experience! Over the last decade I've taken improv classes in the Bay Area, Dublin and the UK. This was one of my favourite experiences (I took the “Slow Burn” intensive with Jules Munns). I... read more was not feeling super confident about meeting a whole new set of people beforehand but Jules set the tone so that everyone was gentle and supportive to each other and he also structured the class and provided side coaching so that everyone felt comfortable, inspired and came away being sad the week was over. The scenes had both profoundly emotional moments and very funny talking-about-nothing. I'd do it again in a second. It was also lovely to be able to get to know people from the US, Italy and UK and to hang out in the evenings.

A perfect meld of learning, listening and laughter. Thanks Jules and Heather for a joyful weekend in a beautiful place.

Fantastic improv company!

Heather and Joe are the best! I took an online class with them and it was awesome. They are both incredibly talented, adaptable, encouraging and kind. The class gave me lots of great tools to use in musical improv shows.

I just need to say that this is one of the best things I have done in my life. I was getting into an “I’m an introvert, I don’t do things like this” mindset. Applying the wrong idea of introversion (which... read more annoys me) to myself. After seeing my wife in her end of term show I thought what the heck, give it a go. It’s been enormous fun. It’s like permission for adults to play. Kids naturally improvise all the time don’t they? It has also I believe been quite healing. I have an arthritic condition that I simply forget about when involved in this. It’s helped me to recognise and believe in a part of myself that I didn’t know existed. A freer part. And I hope psychologically this will affect my condition in a positive way. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience? It’s also helped me be freer in my art. I love it.

I really enjoyed the Show and I saw that people have developed their Improv skills creativity and confidence massively in recent months. I laughed a lot:)

The deeper you go in, the more you learn! Yes it's fun and that's magnificent, but it's also soul and mind-expanding, which can't be bad.
