So much work must go into it! And it's amazing that there's an end of course showing in an actual venue at the end to share what you've learned with friends and family. Both for beginners and those with experience! Over the last decade I've taken improv classes in the Bay Area, Dublin and the UK. This was one of my favourite experiences (I took the “Slow Burn” intensive with Jules Munns). I... read more was not feeling super confident about meeting a whole new set of people beforehand but Jules set the tone so that everyone was gentle and supportive to each other and he also structured the class and provided side coaching so that everyone felt comfortable, inspired and came away being sad the week was over. The scenes had both profoundly emotional moments and very funny talking-about-nothing. I'd do it again in a second. It was also lovely to be able to get to know people from the US, Italy and UK and to hang out in the evenings.
