We spent two lovely evenings watching the shows. It was a joy to watch talented people who were so quick witted and funny
Absolutely loved the venue, atmosphere and the vibe, everyone was so friendly.
It was so lovely to be able... read more to see our son doing something he loves
Will be looking forward to the next show

All the lessons I've had with AndAlso (and the retreat I went on), have been fantastic, I’ve learnt so much from them. It’s 90% hilarity and 10% deep and meaningful/emotional.
Whether you want to do improv for fun, learning or... read more personal growth, I can heartily recommend them.

Inspiring teachers and well-balanced workshops! Watching Heather in action is a true delight—whether she's leading a workshop or performing on stage.

Wonderful team and experience! I've made friends, built confidence and i'm simply much funnier than i used to be! Just completed my second term and am signing up for the next one. Highly recommended.

Both for beginners and those with experience! Over the last decade I've taken improv classes in the Bay Area, Dublin and the UK. This was one of my favourite experiences (I took the “Slow Burn” intensive with Jules Munns). I... read more was not feeling super confident about meeting a whole new set of people beforehand but Jules set the tone so that everyone was gentle and supportive to each other and he also structured the class and provided side coaching so that everyone felt comfortable, inspired and came away being sad the week was over. The scenes had both profoundly emotional moments and very funny talking-about-nothing. I'd do it again in a second. It was also lovely to be able to get to know people from the US, Italy and UK and to hang out in the evenings.

Superb Superb Superb. If you're looking for an addiction that is healthy for the mind, body and soul.
Go no further than AndAlso Improv.
It is for everyone and all inclusive. Two and a half hours of belly aching laughter is guaranteed... read more every session. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

So I've been doing improv now with AndAlso for nearly two years. It's been the best decision I've made in that time and one of the best I've ever made in general.
Courses have not only provided an incredible amount of... read more laughs, a link into the wonderful Brighton improv scene and a lot of friends, it's also reduced my fear of failure when going into things. My confidence is much better, I think so much faster on the spot and it's helped me adapt to more stressful situations.
The end of course performances have been some of the best nights I've ever had. The camaraderie, the comedy and feeling of having done a great show is a thrill that lasts for days after.
The teachers are all brilliant, they're wonderfully friendly and funny people. Their passion for improv comedy comes across in every lesson and it's very endearing. Given that I'm in the fourth paragraph I think you'll believe me when I say I can't praise them enough.
These guys are great, if you end up doing this then welcome to the Brighton improv scene. It's a great place to be.

I just need to say that this is one of the best things I have done in my life.
I was getting into an “I’m an introvert, I don’t do things like this” mindset. Applying the wrong idea of introversion (which... read more annoys me) to myself.
After seeing my wife in her end of term show I thought what the heck, give it a go.
It’s been enormous fun. It’s like permission for adults to play. Kids naturally improvise all the time don’t they?
It has also I believe been quite healing. I have an arthritic condition that I simply forget about when involved in this. It’s helped me to recognise and believe in a part of myself that I didn’t know existed. A freer part. And I hope psychologically this will affect my condition in a positive way. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience?
It’s also helped me be freer in my art.
I love it.

I travel every Summer from Belgium to take intensive improv classes with AndAlso. Jules Munns' teaching and coaching style brings out characters that are fun to play and watch, and that feel more real but are also more comedic and... read more dramatic. He calls bullshit when he sees it, and gives actually useful feedback. The only problem is that when I go back home, I'm can't play with people who have taken Jules' classes.

AndAlso offer me an opportunity to do improv online with warm, enthusiastic and knowledgeable teachers. They foster a kind and supportive atmosphere.

Got to do a musical improv intensive from AndAlso Improv! SO WONDERFUL. I was lucky enough to be able to work with Heather and Jules and Joe and this crew has some mad chops for improv. They are incredibly attuned... read more coaches and create an emotionally supportive environment to learn and grow, which in turn helps individuals feel safe enough to unleash the most creative and daring parts of themselves and care greatly for their teammates. Highly recommend.

I flipping love what improv with AndAlso has given me.
Not only a fabulous inclusive community but also skills and fun and utter joyful playfulness which I carry into my work and home life too.
These talented facilitators are serious about having... read more fun and make classes the right level of challenge and learning: a couple of hours a week of mindful surrender to the Gods of Improv seems to take away all the mess of daily life and energise you for the week ahead. I love learning to fail gloriously and then build something beautiful from nothing in great company. It’s the highlight of my week.

I have been learning improv from Heather and Jules at AndAlso since 2014. I have always loved their approach, non judgemental and also equipping you with skills and tips to improve. Some of my all-time favourite exercises were from their... read more drop-in classes, and I now go every year to their Spring retreat. Highly recommended!

I was lucky enough to attend a week-long summer intensive course here. I hoped I might learn a thing or two and have some fun. But wow, it was interesting, challenging, thought-provoking, tear-jerking, laugh-til-your-sides-burst fun! These guys are WORLD CLASS.... read more I would go again in a heartbeat.

*ONLINE only* for me in California; have done literally hundreds of hours of Musical Improv training via Zoom since 2020. LOVE these teachers and this program. Welcoming, inclusive, supportive, knowledgeable -- they will connect with you ...

I've now completed four improv courses with AndAlso over the last year or so, starting from a base of zero improv knowledge or experience. No regrets! It's masses of fun and all the tutors I've had are funny, proactive and... read more kind, and a lot of thought has gone into the structure of courses so that you build up skill and experience (and therefore confidence) over time. So much work must go into it! And it's amazing that there's an end of course showing in an actual venue at the end to share what you've learned with friends and family. Our classes have opened into proper friendships and a sense of community too, which is a wonderful bonus.
I've never had any issues or problems and I've felt able to ask questions and try stuff out and basically it's great. Come for a taster, stay for the course!
