At AndAlso, our Improv Showcases bring the Brighton improv community together for an evening of brave-play, belly laughs, and connection. Students from across our courses step into the spotlight to share the skills they’ve been developing throughout the term. These nights aren’t about polished perfection — they’re about courage, creativity, and the thrill of live comedy made in the moment.
From short-form games that keep you laughing to imaginative longform stories, no two showcases are ever the same. It’s theatre without a script, comedy without a safety net, and a celebration of everything improv has to offer.
Whether you’re cheering on a friend, curious about trying improv yourself, or a seasoned improv fan, you’ll leave uplifted, inspired, and part of something bigger. Improv is like yoga for the soul — and a showcase is the perfect chance to stretch, laugh, and connect.
