Improv in Brighton has a rich history that dates back over two decades. The scene was first put on the map by John Cremer and The Maydays, pioneers who brought the art of improvisation to the forefront of the city’s cultural life. Their influence laid the foundation for a community that is still growing and thriving. Over the years, this vibrant tradition has only grown, attracting performers and enthusiasts from all walks of life. As Brighton’s largest improv company, AndAlso continues this proud tradition. We channel two decades of global improv experience into our Brighton improv courses and events, making high-quality training accessible to everyone. From friendly local workshops and community classes to a comprehensive training program, AndAlso offers a range of opportunities to explore the art of improv.
