    I've now completed four improv courses with AndAlso over the last year or so, starting from a base of zero improv knowledge or experience. No regrets! It's masses of fun and all the tutors I've had are funny, proactive and... read more kind, and a lot of thought has gone into the structure of courses so that you build up skill and experience (and therefore confidence) over time. So much work must go into it! And it's amazing that there's an end of course showing in an actual venue at the end to share what you've learned with friends and family. Our classes have opened into proper friendships and a sense of community too, which is a wonderful bonus. I've never had any issues or problems and I've felt able to ask questions and try stuff out and basically it's great. Come for a taster, stay for the course!

    I just need to say that this is one of the best things I have done in my life. I was getting into an “I’m an introvert, I don’t do things like this” mindset. Applying the wrong idea of introversion (which... read more annoys me) to myself. After seeing my wife in her end of term show I thought what the heck, give it a go. It’s been enormous fun. It’s like permission for adults to play. Kids naturally improvise all the time don’t they? It has also I believe been quite healing. I have an arthritic condition that I simply forget about when involved in this. It’s helped me to recognise and believe in a part of myself that I didn’t know existed. A freer part. And I hope psychologically this will affect my condition in a positive way. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience? It’s also helped me be freer in my art. I love it.
